Alright, this just seems wrong. A high school student that only has a couple months to go before he graduates got expelled because of something he tweeted. It turns out his school monitors its student’s tweets. What was so bad about what he tweeted? Did he threaten somebody? Was he bullying some poor kid? Did he ruin someone’s reputation? No, no, and no. He used the “F” word a few times in a tweet. When he couldn’t have been at school. On his own time. I guess this means free speech isn’t a thing anymore?
US Government’s Got Game
There's real, and there's Unreal.
The Unreal Engine has been licensed to a few government agencies for training purposes. They plan to use it for anything from crime scene to medic training. What would be really cool is a game that teaches a new language.
Obsidian Getting A Kick Start
It looks like this is the wave of the future. I'm ok with that.
Obsidian still has plans to use Kickstarter to fund a project. There’s no word yet on what it could be. Keeping their track record in mind, I bet it’ll be a very fun and ambitious project that many will love in spite of its numerous flaws that sometimes get worse before they get better.

Let me set the stage for you. A British college student was at a soccer game and intoxicated. One of the players collapsed and the student tweeted something that was racist. Now the student is going to be in jail for 2 months. Has the entire world lost its damn mind?! I don’t agree with what he said, but being put in jail because you’re racist is a bit much.
Delicious Protest
Maybe it's also a statement about mediocrity being dressed up in pretty colors.
Most people have heard about fans being upset with Mass Effect 3's ending by now. The best protest I've heard of so far is a group of fans that have gathered over $1000 to send a huge batch of vanilla cupcakes that are divided equally into red, blue, and green. Their point is that no matter what you pick, in the end it tastes the same.
