Welcome to TL;DR. Kell is off doing something else. I won’t spoil what he’s doing, just know that a thumb is involved and there will be lots of spinning.
Thug Life?
What’s creepier, the fact that last night the long-deceased Tupac Shakur joined Snoop Dogg on stage as a hologram at the Coachella festival or the fact that you know someone reading this has no idea who Tupac is? I can tell you that the hologram looks pretty bad ass and I’m interested to see what other people will do with the technology.
Cleaning up the Park
Is there anything significant today? Not really, unless it’s your birthday, you know something I don’t, or if you’re a fan of Linkin Park. Today Linkin Park updated their site with their new single from their upcoming June release, Living Things. You should give it a listen; it’s the weirdest culmination of everything they’ve done. Mike Shinoda assures us that this album will be using all of the tools they’ve culminated throughout their career, using similar themes from their older music; however, the band won’t be returning to its nu-metal beginnings. After an amazing score on The Raid: Redemption I feel I owe it to Mr. Shinoda to give the album a shot.
George Lucas is going to Sue Someone
This next bit totally isn’t worth putting on here, but it’s so dumb and nerdy that it totally is. No story, just the sad realization that someone stared at Google maps for so long that they finally spotted the Falcon. Take that MOM!
Avengers Assemble
After the multiple screenings of the Avengers, everyone who has seen it has been talking about how great it is, especially Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. What you might not know is that Joss Whedon has promised that there will be at least 30 minutes of deleted scenes on the Blu-ray/DVD. Most of these scenes were pulled because he wanted to tighten up the movie’s considerable length and cut himself (figuratively) out of the movie. I’m just hoping that we can get an extended cut, which he’s pretty much already said he won’t give. PEER PRESSURE! PEER PRESSURE! PEER PRESSURE!
Iron Man 3 Orders Out
It was announced today that Iron Man 3 will be co-financed by the Chinese production company DMG Entertainment. This is a positive because it will get the movie out to a much bigger audience and increase the budget, which is totally convenient because Iron Man 3 is also set to do a few scenes in China. For you, this only means one thing, you’re going to be seeing Iron Man 3 in 3D. I’m just hoping they don’t do the worst possible thing and name it Iron Man 3D.
Well that’s it for our Monday TL;DR. With any luck Mr. K-Naughty will be back on TL;DR tomorrow to save you from my sexual prowess…er… I mean, this is awkward. I’ll show myself out. Before I go, If you want more of me be sure to follow me on twitter @teamasunder and Kell @kelknaughty.
