You know that story about the scanners the TSA uses in airports being ineffective? The TSA has been contacting reporters and warning them not to report on the story. Nothing says, “I’m completely trustworthy,” quite like handling the situation like the Mafia.

That’s… Not A Bad Idea

I'm mostly excited for the Hulk in this movie. The trailers show that he's capable of teamwork. Our big green boy is all grown up.

Joss Whedon was asked what he would do to top The Avengers in a sequel and his response was brilliant. “By not trying to. By being smaller. More personal, more painful.” So, can we hurry up and make this happen? Hollywood? Hello? Crap, it was a good idea so they didn’t hear it.

Landlocked And Loving It

Their flag has its priorities straight.

Have you ever heard of the island nation of Kiribati? Well, you’re a little late because it’s disappearing. The rising sea level and storms eroding away shoreline have devastated the 113.000 citizens. Relocation is their last resort, but it sounds like that’s going to be their only option eventually. You’ve got to feel bad for people that are slowly but surely losing their homes.

That’s A Big, “No”

No, no, no. Not that kind of Steam Box.

Valve has responded to the “Steam Box” rumors by debunking them. In short, yes they have been building hardware to test software on. There are no plans for any kind of hardware release. There’s still the possibility that it could happen eventually.

Wait. Where’s He From?

This man has a certain set of skills, AND nothing to lose. Your move, Mr. Neeson.

Dimension Films has acquired the rights to an English-language remake of The Man From Nowhere. If you end up finding yourself wondering, “Where has Hollywood been getting the ideas for these amazing movies lately,” the answer is South Korea. Just saying.

Well, I seem to have found myself at the week’s end. I’m looking forward to some sweet D&D action tomorrow. The only downside is I think the DM is trying to kill me. If you’d like to check on me look for @kelknaughty on Twitter.
